I am an operations professional who usually needs to design images for work. When I wanted to use background removal features from other websites, I found them quite troublesome - some required registration, others needed paid credits, and many required downloading software or apps. My needs weren't that extensive, and I felt these barriers were unnecessarily complicated. So I thought: why can't there be a background removal tool that doesn't require registration, doesn't cost money, doesn't need downloads, and can be used instantly whenever I need it?
That's when I spent a month learning web development and finally built this website myself.
This is a personal project, not a company operation, and the background removal service is completely free. I personally cannot afford high server costs, so I had to limit uploads to 10 images at a time, each within 10MB. For people with moderate needs like me, I believe this should be sufficient.
